This was a fun logo design created for a food truck. The client wanted to highlight the chef (Ansel) and have a logo that stood out from the rest.

My idea was to illustrate the chef and create a unique logo that was a brand in itself yet could be simplified and scaled down without losing any detail.

MOTLEY CANVAS

Motley Canvas is an artist branding project that included creating a logo and business card. The primary medium for the art is patterns and textures created with found objects. I wanted the logo to reflect this artistic style with a focus on patterns.

I went with black and white to simplify the logo and keep it clean. I transferred that simplicity to the business card design, using a grey pattern to coordinate with the new logo and brand.

CONNECTIONS NEWSLETTER

Connections is a school newsletter that I have the pleasure of designing from beginning to end. This piece is completed a couple of times a year with the goal of engaging the readers with information about current events.

I wanted to achieve the look of a magazine versus a newsletter to make the entire piece visually interesting. Given content and photos for the 50+ pages, I make each article its own design that flows effortlessly to the next.

LAUDICK TRUCKING SHIRTS

Laudick Trucking contacted me after being referred by Seig Surveying. They wanted me to create shirt designs that would have the same style yet be unique for each driver. I started by illustrating the different truck styles they used (Dump Trailer, Dump Truck, Pnuematic Tank Truck) and then created the shirt designs.

I wanted the shirts to have a grungy, splattered look that would encompass the content the client wanted to include. Laudick Trucking primarily hauls natural materials and I wanted to reflect that in the design.

SUNMAN LANDING MENU

A local business of over 100 years decided to give itself a makeover and invited me to be a part of the wonderful process. With the creation of a new logo and menu, I complemented the old-world style of the building by going with a vintage style.

ECKEL CUSTOM FABRICATION

Eckel Custom Fabrication is a logo that I had the pleasure of creating for an old high school friend. Coming to me as a mere concept, the client wanted to have a logo that reflected the metal fabrication work they would be doing.

I took a front seat role into seeing the client’s vision of the brand and, with that vision, designed and illustrated the mark that will represent their new company.
